Community
By becoming a PebblePad user you will be joining a vibrant, active and supportive PebblePad community. The following activities provide you with many opportunities for keeping up to date with developments, contributing to the PebblePad body of knowledge (Pebblegogy), sharing ideas and resources, and contacting and collaborating with other Pebble Paddlers from around the world.
- A regular newsletter (Paddling Around)
- Online community site (Pebblegogy) [coming soon]
- Biennial Conference (PebbleBash)
- Regional User Groups
- Webinars
You are not just taking on a piece of technology – you are taking on pedagogy, a shared approach to teaching and learning that encourages dialogue, collaboration, and community.
Regional User Groups
We aim to conduct regional user groups at least once or twice each year. These might relate to a particular topic or event, for example the series of PP+ focus groups conducted early in 2011, or might simply be an opportunity for practitioners to get together in regional groups to discuss PebblePad practice.
In Australia, the Australian PebblePad User Group (APpUG) conducts a combination of face–to–face and online user group meetings each year.
